Students will be assigned a few problems to practice what was covered in class that day. The below schedule of homework may change throughout the week. Students are only required to do the circled problems.

Math- This week students will be relating fractions to time and use their knowledge of both to solve elapsed time real-world problems. They will also practice adding and subtracting 3-digit numbers with and without bundling and regrouping. Vocabulary-added,number bond, ten frame, rename or bundle, partners to ten, benchmark number, more than (>), less than (<), equal (=), expanded form, place value, hundreds, tens, ones (units), bundling, unbundling, unit form(5 hundreds, 7 tens, 3 ones), standard form(573), written form(five hundred seventy-three), doubles, pairs, odd, even, arrays, rectangles, quarters, 24 hours=1 day(12 hours a.m./12 hours p.m.), 60 seconds=1 minute, 60 minutes=1 hour, 15 minutes=1 quarter of an hour(4 quarters=1 hour). For fluency practice (+,-, + & -) google search that's a fact (Harcourt...) usually first sight. Great practice website where students set their own goals.
Science- Students will be observing several types of candies to gather data to hypothesis which will float and which will sink and will be able to give a scientific reason of why to support their hypothesis.
